CRASH's Sendai Base is located on the second floor of a church in Sendai, found in Japan's Miyagi prefecture. On the first floor of the church is the church itself (which runs devotions on Wednesdays and Fridays) and a café where locals come and go. The base has all necessary utilities, with areas available for cooking and showering.
Sendai Base's work consists of labor such as removing sludge, doing light carpentry work, doing yard work, and general cleaning up. Teams also hand out relief supplies and work with church outreach programs.
