The Ichinoseki Base staff has asked for general prayer for strength, perseverance, and joy as many of our long termers recently departed and some are leaving soon. Also, our schedule is pretty hectic and we only have a few staffers so people are doing double, triple duty to cover the roles that were previously filled.

It is the time for rice planting. Please pray that there will be no injuries for the people in the area.

Many survivors cannot sleep without pills or alcohol.

For longer term volunteers to come and work with us at the base so that when we do more mobile cafés, we can follow up on the people that we meet.

The leaders in the temporary housing – they have so much responsibility and everyone looks to them for help. It can get very stressful.
